Battle 1: Can we win the war?

13 August 2006

Chelsea suffered defeat to Liverpool in a match that they truely deserved to lose! Maybe this loss is not really a bad thing but a blessing in disguise. It has shown a lot about the fact that Chelsea at the moment is not playing as a team, the timing is still off! It goes to show that some fringe players would still remain so while glaring deficiencies would have to be corrected before the season gets underway

Chesea’s options on the bench are very limited. The teams strenght last year lay mostly in the strenght of the bench and this is virtually non existent this time around.

No, I think with 1 or 2 additions we will do just fine!

Maybe Kalou will step up and be counted!
He has started his Chelsea campaign, just maybe he is the man we’ve been waiting for! Can he do it?
Come on Kalou, the war has started and prisoners are not taken and the spoils bountiful
